- Upgraded copper head rapidly heats for efficient evaporation, ideal for beekeeping.
- Durable stainless steel rods and copper core cord resist corrosion and breakage.
- Easy-to-use wooden handle ensures ergonomic operation for beekeeper safety.
- Effective protection against bee mites, essential for both new and experienced beekeepers.
- Steps for usage:
Open the lid and place the appropriate amount of oxalic acid into the evaporator pot. Direct the smoke outlet pipe through the hive entrance into the hive interior, seal the entrance, close the bottom window, and any other openings of the hive. Connect the device to the power source (connect the red battery clip to the battery’s positive terminal; otherwise, the indicator light will not turn on) and turn on the switch. The medication will heat up and begin to vaporize, filling the hive with smoke. Generally, 2-3 grams of oxalic acid will completely evaporate in 2 minutes, and 4-5 grams in 3 minutes. Once the evaporation is complete and the indicator light automatically goes out, turn off the switch, remove the device, and cover the hive entrance with a cloth for 10-15 minutes.
Precautions:
– When connecting the device to the power source, ensure correct polarity to activate the switch indicator light.
– The oxalic acid gas reaches high temperatures during device heating; avoid close contact with hands.
– No need to clean the device or smoke outlet pipe; residual medication will automatically melt for next use. Cleaning with water may cause circuit damage due to water ingress.
